SKMR-2 - test rig for fatigue investigation of multilayer thin-walled bearing bushes (Patent PL 187605)

SKMR-2 tester is used for fatigue testing of metallic thin-walled multilayer half-bearings. The test rig allows to produce in investigated samples the fluctuating bending stresses of adjustable mean and amplitude components. The bearing lining bending stresses alternate from tension to compression. Residual stresses resulting from manufacturing processes are also present. The test specimen is placed in the chamber filled with the lubricant of controlled temperature. Test procedure is performed in accordance with ISO 7905/4 recommendations.
